White Lotus Location Dreams: Following the Four Seasons Footsteps

Are you hooked on the drama, the intrigue, and the stunning backdrops of HBO's The White Lotus? We sure are! But beyond the captivating storylines, what truly excites us is the show's impeccable taste in filming locations – specifically, their consistent choice of breathtaking Four Seasons resorts around the globe.

So far, The White Lotus has whisked us away to some truly idyllic tropical paradises, and we've loved every sun-drenched minute of it. From the pristine beaches of Hawaii to the dramatic cliffs of Sicily and the lush landscapes of Thailand, the show has become as much a visual feast as it is a narrative one.

Now, whispers are circulating about a potential change of scenery for Season 4. Could we be trading in our swimwear for ski jackets? Rumors suggest a cold-weather, ski destination might be next. But frankly, we're not buying it!

Our sources (and a little bit of wishful thinking!) tell us that the show's acclaimed creator isn't exactly a fan of frosty climates. This makes a snow-covered backdrop seem highly unlikely. Plus, let's not forget the seemingly unbreakable bond between The White Lotus and the Four Seasons brand. And as far as we know, there isn't a Four Seasons hotel gracing the slopes of Norway – a location often mentioned in the cold-weather speculation. Unless Four Seasons and HBO decide to part ways (a thought that makes us shudder!), Norway seems firmly off the map.

So, where might the next chapter of The White Lotus unfold? The rumor mill is buzzing with possibilities, and two destinations have us particularly excited: Egypt and Mexico. Both of these incredible countries boast absolutely stunning Four Seasons properties, and the thought of another season unfolding against such luxurious and culturally rich backdrops makes us very, very happy indeed!

Let's take a trip down memory lane and revisit the gorgeous Four Seasons locations that have already graced our screens:

Season 1: Four Seasons Wailea, Maui, Hawaii

A true fan favorite and a dream destination for many US travelers. Our very own owner, Sheri Gottschalk, consistently ranks the Four Seasons Wailea as one of her absolute favorite hotels in the entire world. Its stunning beachfront location, impeccable service, and luxurious amenities made it the perfect setting for the show's debut season.

Season 2: San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Property, Italy

The dramatic cliffs and breathtaking views of Taormina provided a stunning and slightly more intense backdrop for the second season. The San Domenico Palace, with its rich history and opulent charm, perfectly embodied the complex dynamics and hidden tensions of the guests.

Season 3: Four Seasons Koh Samui, Thailand

The lush tropical paradise of Koh Samui offered a vibrant and exotic setting for the latest season. The private villas and serene beaches of the Four Seasons Koh Samui provided a beautiful contrast to the unfolding drama.

Where do you think The White Lotus will head next? Are you hoping for the warmth of Egypt or the vibrant culture of Mexico? Let us know in the comments below! And of course, if you're dreaming of your own White Lotus-inspired getaway, we can help you plan your luxurious escape to any of these incredible Four Seasons destinations!
